Watford FC helps a safer gambling message by way of the RecoverMe partnership


Watford FC has strengthened its commitment to responsible and safer gambling through a partnership with the Mobile Health app RecoverMe.

RecoverMe was developed by three NHS junior doctors with the aim of raising awareness of gambling treatment options.

The app enables those struggling with problem gambling to have better control of their addiction through their personal mobile device. It provides a lifeline for these individuals by providing a gateway to treatment services as well as flexible and instant access to support.

"RecoverMe is delighted to be working with Watford FC to raise the profile of gambling addiction and, in particular, awareness of treatment options," he said Tejus Patel, Co-founder of RecoverMe.
