ATLANTIC CITY – A Monmouth County man became a millionaire on Saturday afternoon when he hit a jackpot of $ 1.1 million on a progressive poker game after wagering $ 5 in Tropicana Atlantic City that weekend.
After his big win, Tropicana customer Frank Nagy offered shift workers a generous tip of $ 50,000, said Noel Stevenson, spokesman for Caesars Entertainment, which owns Tropicana.

Tropicana was thrilled to celebrate this huge win with one of its longtime clients, said Steve Callender, regional president for Caesars & # 39; Atlantic City Properties.
The win marks the largest MEGA jackpot in any progressive poker game in Caesars Entertainment's history, Stevenson said. The last time the jackpot was hit was August 2019, she said.
To be eligible, guests had to try their luck at a progressive game in Tropicana, Caesar's Atlantic City, or Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, including Four Card Poker, Let It Ride, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold & # 39; em, Mississippi Stud Poker and, according to Stevenson, Texas Hold & # 39; em Poker is in the table games section of every casino.
