Things happen downtown. Shortly after the opening of Circa Las Vegas across the street, the plaza is redeveloping the building that currently houses the Greyhound bus station, adding new components for dining, entertainment, or retail. The 48,500 square meter bus stop will be cleared this summer to clear the way for work to begin. The project will also include a four block pedestrian walkway with an elevated bridge over the Union Pacific railroad tracks that will connect to Symphony Park, which is home to the Smith Center's performing arts theater.
Golden Gate celebrates: Across the street from Circa in a different direction, the Golden Gate celebrated its 115th anniversary this month. The original building opened as the Hotel Nevada in 1906 and was renamed Sal Sagev (written backwards in Las Vegas) in 1931. It became the Golden Gate in 1955 and remains the oldest hotel in Las Vegas.
Bellagio ad: The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden unveiled their annual Chinese New Year tribute. The Year of the Ox naturally features golden oxen on a red footbridge over a pond with a covered rowing boat and rowing machine, as well as several Chinese structures, trees, birds and fountains.
The display runs until March 6th and can be viewed free of charge.
Question: What are the highlights of this year's Las Vegas Advisor Coupon Book?
Answer: As you'd expect, the 2021 Member Rewards Book is a little different this year as the Las Vegas buffets and shows don't work. However, the book still contains around 70 coupons with discounts for restaurants, bars, and hotel rooms, as well as several valuable gambling bonuses for slots, video poker, table games, and bingo. It's the best Las Vegas incentive package available from any source. You can see the entire list at LasVegasAdvisor.com.
